Hammond served as general contractor for an indoor hitting and pitching practice facility for the men’s baseball and women’s softball teams. The two-story pre-engineered steel and masonry structure houses seven batting cages, pitching mound practice area, weight room, staff offices, and a training room to support Kent’s athletic programs.
