Two New Behavioral Health Centers for Adolescents & Young Adults

Hammond Construction recently partnered with Akron Children’s Hospital to construct two new behavioral health centers in Northeast Ohio.

These stand-alone centers, located in Canton and Mansfield, will provide outpatient therapy, medical management and a partial hospitalization program for adolescents and young adults.  The two-week, partial hospitalization program consists of a group of 10 children who spend five hours a day, five days a week at the center for various therapies. Their families commit to at least one family therapy session per week as well. Both the Mansfield and Canton facilities include treatment rooms, triage room, group meeting rooms, outdoor spaces and offices for staff.
