KSU Roe Green Center

Kent, OH

Kent State University

The School of Theatre and Dance was fortunate to receive the largest capital donation in the history of Kent State University. Through the generosity of the Roe Green Foundation, the School’s divisions of Theatre and Dance will be united under one roof. Ms. Green’s $6.5 million gift will enable our students to learn in state-of-the-art classrooms, studios and labs. It will allow both dance and theatre students in the school to collaborate in new and exciting ways in a performance space dedicated to student creative projects and new works. As construction manager, Hammond conducted an addition and renovation to transform the facility. Improvements include a new Black Box theater, dance and acting studios, classrooms, stage design, lighting lab and welding lab.
