Hammond Construction was selected as the construction manager at risk for a new rehabilitation hospital located on Akron City Hospital’s campus. Summa in partnership with Vibra Healthcare constructed an all-inclusive rehabilitation hospital based on the specific needs of each patient. The 60-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital includes large indoor/outdoor therapy training areas, an ADL suite, bariatric rooms, classrooms, and support space.
